- Book Binding Workshop on World Book Day Thursday 1st March 6-9pm £45
Introduce yourself to the book form through a series of simple but effective book structures. From folded forms through to three-hole stitched books and stab bindings. You will make several hand made books that can be taken away to be used as models for exploring and developing your own work.
This workshop is appropriate for beginners just starting out with an interest in making books by hand

About the Tutor: Clare Bryan’s work involves the manipulation and cutting of paper. Making scalpel drawings in what appear, on the surface, to be blank book structures. On turning the page you start to reveal a narrative or image. Combining Teaching and Small Press work she currently teaches at various London colleges and works for and often collaborates with other artists making artists books & boxes. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK with work in various public and private collections including Yale Centre for British Art, The Government Art Collection and The Tate.
