Tips: One package will dye 1 pound of dry fabric ( i.e 2 adult large T-shirts). To achieve a darker or more intense colour, double dye quantity. 

For best results, add 1 cup of salt to dye bath for cotton, rayon or linen. Add 1 cup of vinegar to dye bath for nylon, silk or wool.

If dyeing to a lighter or different colour, use Rit Color Remover before dyeing to lighten existing colour in most fabrics.

Use Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative immediately after dyeing cotton, linen or rayon to maximise colour retention.
